The Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour at UCL is the winner in the category of Excellent Communications Design Architecture
The Sainsbury Wellcome Centre is one of the first buildings ever designed to incorporate the latest neuroscientific knowledge into its fabric from inception, and in open collaboration with its prospective neuroscientist users. “We have been learning from each other, we have all become neural architects so to speak”, says Professor John O’Keefe – SWC Inaugural Director and 2014 Nobel Prize laureate. “This is a shockingly good building to work in.” – Adam Kampff, PI.
