Architects, not Architecture at the Royal Institution on the 24th of October, at 18.30, Ian Ritchie, Sadie Morgan and Jonathan Sergison will talk autobiographically about the significant aspects of their careers, without talking about their projects. Architects, not Architecture aims to bring to the stage what is not normally seen. Three invited well-known architects, who instead of talking about their award-winning international projects, are asked to talk about themselves. They speak about their path, influences and experiences, and dive deeper into their intellectual biography. This makes possible a better understanding of their work.
AnA was founded in Hamburg by Fermín Tribaldos and Irene Osei-Poku in 2015. After a successful series over the last four years and eleven events alone in 2019, AnA has already held 26 events with over 8000 attendees. This year, AnA is taking place in five cities around Germany and in the European metropoles of Oslo, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Antwerp, London and Rotterdam.
